The village of Tarporley held a beautiful procession and service of remembrance yesterday to commemorate the 61 men of their village who never returned from the First World War.

61 seated silhouettes were placed in the pews of St. Helen’s Parish Church, where they now sit alongside the villagers of today.

If you would like to visit the installation, it will be in place in St. Helen’s Parish Church until March 31st 2018, and over the Remembrance period in November.
