Lieutenant General Sir John Kiszely KCB MC DL
Sir John was commissioned into the Scots Guards and served for forty years in the British Army, with operational service in Northern Ireland, the Falkland Islands, Bosnia and Iraq. His latter appointments included those of Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff, and Director General of the Defence Academy. On leaving the army, he worked as a defence consultant and was Vice Chairman of Trustees of the Imperial War Museum and National President of the Royal British Legion.
