A Tommy and several bench silhouettes have been installed at Tywyn Gwynedd in Wales.
The Tommy stands as a permanent installation at Bryn-Y-Paderau, which translates as Hill of Prayers.
The town has also dotted silhouettes throughout Twywn Gwynedd on local benches close to the houses of soldiers from the town who served in the Great War.
A spokesperson for the Town Council said, “I wanted to see them displayed because this is the centenary. I felt the town should be reminded of the ultimate sacrifice made by those who fought for our freedom.”
