Lathom Park Chapel

Lathom Park Chapel is in the grounds of Lathom Park, which was during the 1st World War a Remount Depot, training horses before they were sent to the front.

Through the generosity of local businesses and private donations the chapel has installed a number of seated silhouettes and a 6ft Tommy to commemorate locals who fought and died in the First World War. The figures will remain in the Chapel until after the Remembrance Day Service on 11th November 2018.

The Chapel has services every Sunday at 11am and from May to September is open Sunday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm. They would like to  encourage as many people/organisations/schools as possible come and see them as part of their Acts of Remembrance.

Visit their website for more details.
